If an employee is currently a CE Clerk regular status position, and also holds a CE Assistant substitute status position, would they be able to request a transfer into a CE Assistant position that is open?
No. An employee is only eligible to request a transfer to a position within their current regular classification or a lower-level classification in which they have previously worked (and have completed probation). A substitute status position does not meet this criteria.
